Pete Barusic is a weathering athlete and has been a Physical Therapist for 27 years and is a Geriatric Clinical Specialist and is a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults. He was named the Clinician of the Year for Encompass Home Health in 2016.

He will be part of team that will be hosting a Virtual Conference in October for Physical Therapy.com as well as at APTA National Conference in 2021. His topic will be on Injury prevention and training recovery with age. The focus of the Weathered Athlete podcast will cover many topics from the perspective of a Weathered Athlete including training, in-event or race management, recovery and rehab from injury.
